Dowsing Pendulum

A pendulum works by tapping into your intuition and sixth sense. The pendulum acts as a form of receiver and transmitter, from your higher guidance, guardian angels and spiritual teachers. As the pendulum moves, you gain answers in response to questions – it is best suited to use to answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions. Some people describe the way a pendulum works as being like bringing together the rational and intuitive sides of you (the left and right sides of your brain). When these two elements are brought together, you’re able to make decisions using all the sources, rather than just one of them.

Exorcism

Exorcism is a prayer that falls in the category of sacramentals, that is, one of a number of sacred signs instituted by the Church "to sanctify different circumstances of life".

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. The predominate form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

It’s a complementary or alternative health approach. Reiki does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being.

During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you to bring about healing. The belief is that the practitioner is able to stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities.

Usui Reiki- Usui Reiki symbols are sacred and are to be kept confidential. They are only revealed to those who are about to be initiated into the Second or Third degree of Reiki. The reason for this is explained later in this article. However, it is possible to discuss their nature, how they work and their history while we continue to honor this trust.

karuna reiki- Karuna Reiki is a system that has a higher vibrational approach than what we’re used to in Reiki Usui. This Reiki system consists of many meditations with the Ascendant Masters, angels, and Archangels. There are also meditations for learning how to forgive yourself and others. As a side note, learning how to accept, understand, and forgive is the core of Karuna Reiki and I dare to say of Reiki in general. Karuna is simply more focused on this aspect and allows the practitioner to go deeper than with other systems.

Angel Healing

Angelic Healing is a form of energy healing. We all have an energy system, which sometimes gets blocked during our daily lives. Think of these blocks like boulders in a river. Blocks like this get built up when we feel anger, fear, pain, resentment, or anything that is not in true alignment with who we are. We can loosen or remove some of the “boulders” with Angelic Healing, so we are back in the flow – feeling more energetic and more alive, more in tune with our higher self.

Angelic Healing works with the love and healing of the angels. The angels guide us through our lives. In Angelic Healing, the angels guide the therapist while s/he works with the client. The therapist is a vessel to let the healing of the angels pass into the client. The therapist is open to this energy and fully guided by the angels. The higher energy of the angels is cleansing, clearing, and recharging.

Zibu- Zibu Angelic Symbols are fluid graceful symbols that were brought to me by the Angels. Each symbol has a specific meaning and a message of hope, love and encouragement from the Angels. Read more about Zibu in my published book entitled “Zibu: The Power of Angelic Symbology.”

Rune Reader

Runic inscriptions held magical powers. With the aid of inscriptions, you could predict the future, protect a person against misfortune, imbue objects with different qualities, or you could write down conjurations, curses, and spells. Most runic inscriptions that have been found, however, contain more down-to-earth messages. These have been carved for everyday use.

Runes carved upon rune stones also served a variety of purposes. For example, the inscription on the Glavendrup stone on Funen contains a warning to anyone who would dare to damage or move the stone.

Spells and Magick

Spell & Magick

Spell, words uttered in a set formula with magical intent. The correct recitation, often with accompanying gestures, is considered to unleash supernatural power.

Some societies believe that incorrect recitation can not only nullify the magic but cause the death of the practitioner.

The concept of a flowing life force has been explored around the world. It has been referred to as qi in traditional Chinese medicine, prana in Hindu philosophy, and ka in ancient Egyptian religion. These names describe the essence of existence, a powerful current that animates all natural things.

Types of Magick

Binding Magick: Binding magick is not the most recommended practice. To bind is to keep someone from doing something ? almost like putting a wall between them and the chosen thing. This is a very restrictive magick and is often very unethical if used for the wrong reason. It is never to be taken lightly as it is long lasting, often very strong and can cause the law of three to see retribution against you.

CandIe Magick: Candle magick is often used in spells and rituals and can be influenced by the shape, colour, scent and number of candles.

Crystal/Stone Magick: Just as herbal magick can be very divers, as can crystal magick. There are a multitude of crystals, stones and metals that can be used for many purposes through either simply invoking the energ ies of the crystals or crystal elixirs.

Dream Magick: Dream magick is usually incredibly useful for tapping inta the astral and one?s own psyche. Through dream magick, you can connect to the hidden secrets of your mind and to realms you can?t access through the physical.

Elemental Magick: Elemental magick is one of the less commonly used magick outside of rituals. Usually in the beginning of a ritual, the elements are invoked and called into the c ircle for their blessings. However, outside the circle elemental magick can be used by invoking the essential energy of the elements for their specific magicks.

Glamour Magicks: Glamouries were originally used by the ley in order to disquise themselves when playing tricks and to hide from humans. Now that there are many fae otherkin and humans have come in contact with the fae, a few humans are able to work a glamourie. They can be as simple and subtle as disguising a small scar or large as changing your eye or hair colour. Often they can be used to even inspire desire in another human being. However, as useful as glamours can be, very few people can actually naturally work them.

Herbal Magick: Herbal Magick, in my opinion is one of the most useful magicks around. Usually herbal magic is employed through incense, tinctures or a long list of other herbal products in order to invoke their essences. If you?re ever having trouble finding something to work magick with for a very spec ific purpose, look through your favourite herbal magick book and you?II almost definitely find something to help you.

Abremalin Magic

Around the turn of the century, when Aleister Crowley was working out his system of Magick, the source that he turned to for basics was the system of Abramelin of Egypt. From Abramelinhe took his concepts of protections, purifications, evocations, vestments, and dromena down to specific details.
This system of Abramelin the Mage is known from a unique 15th century manuscript preserved in the Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal in Paris. In it, Abraham of Würzburg, a cabalist and connoisseur of magics, describes a tour that he made of the then civilized world, visiting sorcerers, magicians and cabalists, estimating their powers and virtues. This quest is in itself as fascinating as the similar tours of Gurdjieff.
The high point of Abraham’s travels was found in a small town on the bank of the Nile, where he encountered the great magician Abramelin, whose complete system Abraham thereupon sets out in detail. This amounts to a complete course in ceremonial magic (both white and black), which the student can pursue by himself.
Abramelin, whose system is based mostly on Hellenistic theurgy of the Iamblichan sort, but with Jewish increments from the Cabala, explains the qualifications needed to become a magician, purifications and asceticisms to be practised month by month, studies and activities permitted during this period, selection of place and time for working magic, equipment needed prayers and formulas, evocation of good and evil spirits, commanding spirits to do ones will, overcoming rebellious spirits, and similar material. Specific instructions are offered to develop such powers as clairvoyance, divining metals and treasurers, warding off evil magic, healing illness, levitation, transportation, rendering oneself invisible, creating illusions and glamour, reading minds, placing compulsions, working black magic, and a host of other abilities.

The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage is the story of the Egyptian mage Abramelin, or Abra-Melin, who taught a system of magic to Abraham of Worms, a German Jew presumed to have lived from c.1362 – c.1458. The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage and its ideas have been incorporated within the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and later within the mystical system of Thelema (created in 1904 by Aleister Crowley).

During the period of the work, the magician must daily pray before sunrise and again at sunset. During this preparatory phase, there are many restrictions: chastity must be observed, alcoholic beverages refused, and the magician must conduct his business with scrupulous fairness. After the preparatory phase has been successfully completed, the magician's Holy Guardian Angel will appear and reveal magical secrets.

Once this is accomplished, the magician must evoke the 12 Kings and Dukes of Hell (Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, Belial, etc.) and bind them. Thereby, the magician gains command of them in his own mental universe and removes their negative influence from his life. Further, these spirits must deliver a number of familiar spirits (four principal familiars, and several more associated with a set of magical word-square talismans provided in the Abramelin's Book Four).

Tea Leaf Reader

Tasseography (also known as tasseomancy) is the art of identifying symbols and interpreting messages found in the shapes and configurations of tea leaves. Though the practice is simple, the results are often profound, and curious minds have been enchanted by tasseography for centuries. Tasseography is not nearly as popular as tarot reading or crystal magick is today, however, and so it's also less understood.

But never fear, cosmic warrior, it's easy to get started with tasseography, which is a powerful, creative, and accessible way of exercising your intuition. In fact, since it's much less structured than reading tarot cards and less expensive than building a fancy crystal collection, it's a great option for anyone who's interested in cultivating a unique divination practice with what they already have at home. Read on for what every beginner should know about tasseography, including inspiration for spicing up your next witchy tea party.
